Our Love: The Early Chapters

“What we have isn’t flashy—it’s real. Built on long talks, shared values, and that rare feeling of knowing each other for years and still choosing each other daily.”

— Aaron

“We’ve shared so many similarities since the beginning. I love that we still spend so much quality time together and never stop laughing.”

— Hannah

Hannah and Aaron met on a Wednesday night out in Huntington Beach. It was Hannah’s first time in the area and Aaron had been living there for a few years. They chatted after Aaron played a few rounds of pool with Hannah’s friend and built a friendship after that night. After getting to know each other as friends for months, Aaron asked Hannah on a date. She was nervous and surprised, but they realized how effortless their connection was. They had brunch in Laguna Beach and walked into several of the Laguna art galleries that Hannah’s loved since her childhood.

Hannah and Aaron spent the next year going on adventurous dates, traveling, and spending time with each other’s families. They spent a decent amount of time in Long Beach, where Hannah could experience where Aaron grew up. In that year, they rescued their dog Rocket (an impulsive decision but the best they’ve made) and split their time between Huntington and Newport. After one year together, Hannah moved in with Aaron in Huntington. They enjoyed taking Rocket to the beach more often and redecorating their home together.

On November 16th, 2024 (a little more than two years into their relationship), Aaron asked Hannah to marry him in a thoughtful and beautiful proposal. He bent down on his knee in a private setting after they walked through his film studio, where Aaron made a mini gallery of photos of them to recreate their first date experience. She couldn’t believe it. Then, he surprised Hannah with a champagne boat ride with friends in Newport Harbor. And to top it all off...He planned a surprise sunset dinner with about forty of their closest friends and family members. It was also the same restaurant that Aaron’s parents were engaged. Hannah describes his proposal as the best day of her life.

And the rest is history
